Brown Transferware Fills An Armoire

This armoire has been partially painted and distressed by my antique booth buddy B.
We filled it with brown and white transferware.

We sold several pieces of furniture and that made room for this armoire.
Do you recognize the harlequin lamp?
It is one of my most visited posts from 2012.

We hung thrifted black and white drapes in our two windows.
A hippie, from the 70's, came and took the other drapes back.
We almost kissed that hippie.

 Sassy cow anyone?
Or is it a bull?
The French Girl is made from alabaster.

Vietri dishes, hand painted in Italy, are comfy in a bamboo container.
I want them and the transferware but I am behaving y'all.

Come see us at The Broome Closet booth at Ridge Antiques
in Ridge Spring, South Carolina.

joy and peace

  8. You're selling that darling lamp? I bet it won't last long. The sassy cow is so cute with it too. Yes, brown transferware is something I wish I'd gone in for but at this stage my one piece will have to do. I like everything in your armoire.

  9. Olive the pattern on that transferware is so pretty. I think brown is my favorites of the tranferware. It makes for a beautiful table. I saw several things in your photos I love. I always am telling Dale I need about 3 homes to have all the pretty little things I would like to have. Of course he just laughs because he knows keeping this one clean is more than I can do :)))) Okay...so he should get me 3 maids too.
    many hugs to you...
