Photos I Did Not Pick For Barn Chicks

My images were taken over a one hundred mile radius for the Barn Chicks link Party on August 6 hosted by Karen from Brayton Homestead Interiors. It was difficult to cull the photos to a non-crazy number. These are some that did not go into Friday’s post. I put the old barn outside of Watkinsville, Georgia in sepia just to see what would happen. It was pouring down rain the day I took the photos and it felt like sepia to me.

Happy Sunday

Have I just worn you out looking at old barns? I told Joe, after commenting on all the links for the party, that I felt like I should crawl up in some hay in a barn and go to sleep!

Have a blessed day.

  2. I love all these photos that you took, Olive. I don't think you want to sleep in the hay just stick with your bed!

  3. Hi Olive!!! I am so excited to go back into your blog and find pictures of your yellow, pre Civil War house! I want to have an old house and fix it up with my one true love one day! You sound like a very lucky girl :-) I love the old Texaco sign. There is an old service station that I believe a family lives in now with a Texaco sign like this out front. Great post and I look forward to following you now!

  10. Love the sepia Barn. Also just noticed your sidebar note about reading To Kill a Mockingbird. My Darling Daughter collects the book in every year, cover, issue etc. She obviously is a big fan.

Which of course means we go into every old bookstore searching for copies...

We just watched the special about the making of the film and watched the movie again in honor of the anniversary.

    Have a great week
