Pottery Barn Outlet Fall

Pottery Barn Outlet last weekend was all decked out for fall.
Pumpkins orange and mercury glass were plentiful.

Lots of images ahead.
Go get a drink and drink in the PB.

This rug is gorgeous.

Baskets in all shapes and sizes.

The back of the store is chock full of furniture and has a wall of rugs.
I wanted this leather chair while Joe objected to its $899 price tag.
 He could not be convinced.
There would have been a %20 discount from the outlet mall.

I will find a leather chair.
Yes I will.

My last Pottery Barn Outlet post from May is here.

Pottery Barn Outlet

Pottery Barn Outlet has a blue beach theme this spring.

I have these bubble glasses in the goblet form and love them.
They are about 20% less at the outlet.

Laundry hamper.
We sold a vintage one in our booth last year for much less but they are difficult to find.

I bought a pair of Kelly Green Turkish towels for $9.97.
I really like Pottery Barn towels but normally would not buy them at regular price.
Also I got Kelly Green bath rugs on clearance for $11.97 and $14.97.

If you purchase an item that ends in .97 it is not returnable.
I drive so far all my items are that way anyway.

All images are with my iPhone.

Pottery Barn Outlet Spring 2013

Pottery Barn Outlet was brimming with Easter items this visit. You could not walk for tripping over a cotton pickin rabbit. I saw not one cross. The Eiffel Tower pillow cover was pretty and selling fast.

A slip covered Carlise sofa was priced for $999.00. Two thoughts kept me from taking it home. I was not driving the truck and I cannot spare that amount of money right now. But still, what a fabulous price. I will be quiet now for this photo heavy post. All images taken with my iPhone. Technically they do not allow photos. I misbehave for you my darling readers.

I bought two Turkish hand towels for $1.97 each, on clearance, and one other small item. Walking out of there for less than twenty dollars was not bad at all.

Shelley and I are traveling to our yellow house today.
We plan to take long walks and do some tall thinking.

Pottery Barn Outlet Holiday 2012

Fall tablescapes, pumpkins, and lanterns were in the front windows
but Christmas reigned supreme throughout the store.

If you look at the clipboard, on the left, dining chairs were buy one get one for a penny.

I would like to have some of these sunflower stems.

This is a happy Christmas vignette.
Many customers were buying the rustic reindeer.

This neutral sofa looks wonderful pepped up with red pillows.

The candy canes are in the children's section of the store.
I like their generous size.

All images were taken with my iPhone.
I did ask permission and was told I could take "a couple" of photos
but they were actually not allowed.

My last PB Outlet visit includes fall vignettes.
July Fourth tablescapes in the Pottery Barn Store are here.

CC and I had a lovely time together.
The weekend was far too short.

Last Near Tablescape of Summer

Hobnail glass, a quilt, and finally green grass.
What do these have to do with each other?
The last near tablescape of summer.

The tablecloth is my best church sale find ever.
Most days we use it as a throw in our den but I have just laundered it.

We are thankful for daily rains that have revived our flowers and grass.
I have decided that when I do tablescapes (every other full moon on a Wednesday) I need a basket to carry plates and such to the patio table.
This inspired the last near scape of summer.

My phone is creeping out behind the basket....Yikes.

Pottery Barn Outlet

We visited the Pottery Barn Outlet in North Georgia last Thursday and Friday.
Also Williams Sonoma Outlet and Restoration Hardware Outlet.

To see my visit to Pottery Barn Store in June go here
It has been one of my most popular posts.
Pottery Barn Outlet always has tons of furniture at discount prices.
 I saw a sofa for $799.00
The yummy slip covered sofa would have been perfect for the den.
Sadly it would not fit on top of my Mini Cooper.
I did not have that kind of money even though that is a very good price.

An autumnal tablescape.

Teals and soft greens.

Fancy purchased this Beachcomber basket.
There were only four in the store and they were half price.

This is an incredibly simple vignette but I really like it.

Miscellaneous vignettes in the store.
 What did I buy?
 I am boring.
I bought one down pillow insert.

All images taken with my iPhone.
Definitely not the quality of the Rebel camera but easier to handle and less noticeable.

I took my friend Fancy with me on this two day trip.
We stopped at my daughters college and she crept away from her total immersion Korean class for one hour. Imagine being in class from 8 AM until 9PM, minus meals, and having Korean activities on weekends.  That is what her experience has been. She has enjoyed it somewhat but is incredibly tired and has stated it felt more like an awful dictatorial summer camp than college. She is ready to go back to college and starts fall semester in two weeks.
We pick her up in the morning after a brief ceremony.

I have been having difficulty linking images into parties lately. I think my laptop is in it's last days as it gets industrial use and was purchased not with blogging in mind. If I am unable to link I hope the hosts of parties understand.

Aliens, Siri, Our Old House, And More

I have been at our old house with Joe and Shelly Puppy this week.
Clovis traveled with me of course. For an old grouchy opinionated cat he travels well. Nothing about our one hundred and sixty year old house is easy. The most evident difficulty this week is we have no air conditioning in the living room or kitchen. Not a lot of cooking is happening. Because the ceilings are tall and the house is dark and cave like it is cooler inside than you would think.
Thank God for small mercies.

The images have little to do with this post except that I adore Black Eyed Susan's.

Where we are in middle Georgia has terribly slow internet MiFi service, with Verizon, and I can read two or three pages in a book whilst one of your blogs is being loaded on my laptop.  It makes my visiting you gals and guys an exercise in patience. I told Joe I was having problems joining a party last night and he laughed and said "If you had no blogging problems I would think you had been replaced by an alien, like in the book The Host." To which I rolled my eyes. By the way the movie adaptation of The Host by Stephanie Meyer is coming out next year and I am looking forward to it but am curious to how they are going to do it.

My five dollar dumb phone died last weekend.
We bought an iPhone which means I will be much quicker at answering email at my Google plus email address. I am definitely excited to have a better phone that will help me be more efficient. I think it will be helpful with our buying and reselling business and with the blog.
Siri does not understand my southern accent.
Isn't that a hoot?

My friend and neighbor Fancy and I are planning a two day trip, next week, to north Georgia. We will be going to the premium outlets, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Williams Sonoma, and many more. Fancy had never heard of Pottery Barn until meeting me (she does not read blogs) so it will be cool to witness her seeing Pottery Barn's beautiful linens and furniture for the first time.

You made it to the end....you are pretty, smart and patient.

I think the heat has gotten to me ya'll, thus I ramble.

A Visit To Pottery Barn

I do not go to our local mall but when faced with sitting for hours in a car dealership in another city one hundred miles away I will visit their mall. The Mini Cooper dealership gave us a ride to this mall that happened to have a Pottery Barn. I also took my camera in my big old shopping bag, just in case. I asked permission to take non-flash photography of their tables in the front from a staff person in the back. It was granted as everyone does it with smart phones and never asks she said.

Enjoy

Can you tell all these dishes and glasses are plastic?

The manager popped out from behind the cash register when he saw my Canon Rebel and asked "Are you from Restoration Hardware?" I chuckled at that and said "No."
As if CC and I look like we are from Restoration Hardware.
